Sky Watch Continues...

Sky Watch Friday....click for a bigger look.  Another hot day in the valley, with a little snow left in the mountains.  I wish I were smart enough to edit out the telephone/power lines.  Maybe I'll try and get one of my sons to show me how to take advantage of photo shop.  Until then, thanks to Tom Wigley for hosting.

The mind's eye edits out the wires to see a clear and beautiful landscape. Thanks.

It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures.
We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!

Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world …
No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.

And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky!
Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions

A stunning view... use the 'Clone Tool and just pick some of the sky and paint over the lines.. with care and practise the results will not be noticed..

Thank you for being a part of this weeks Sky Watch.. I and other really appreciate your posting...
Thank you
Tom

Good for you, Jo, for learning something new. I love Photoshop but it's not all that easy to learn on your own. My brother is really good at it so I'm going to have to ask him for lessons. He says you just have to play with it. I use the "clone" feature to get rid of things I don't want.
Uh oh... I just saw Tom's comment and it looks like he's beat me to it.

I've never been able to get rid of wires... I think you did a great job here.

As Tom says with the clone, but to me, It's still a great shot.

You did a good job of removing the wires. If you hadn't included the before shot, I would never have known! The cloud has been snagged by the mountain top!

I'm a retired teacher too ... isn't it grand to have discretionary time? I just learned to remove wires and things in my Photoshop Elements class. It's really quite simple if you have the software, but as Sandy mentioned ... the mind's eye focuses on the beauty and not the wires.

I participated in Sky Watch for the first time this week at Small Reflections with a view from my front patio. Hope you'll find time to drop by.

Hugs and blessings,
